Anime Dice Rebirth Guide — When to Reset and the Pre-Reset Checklist
How Rebirth works in Anime Dice: reset cash for a permanent multiplier, keep your placed units, and use a pre-reset checklist so income is never stranded.
What Rebirth does
Rebirth is Anime Dice’s prestige mechanic: you reset your cash to zero in exchange for a permanent multiplier on what you earn from then on. The community’s documented example — reset at $500M to turn a 2x into a 2.5x multiplier — shows the shape of the deal: you trade a bank balance for a rate. The developer has not published the official cost curve, so treat specific numbers as community data.
The critical reassurance: placed units survive the reset. Your team stays on the plot. What resets is the cash pile, not the collection — which is why rebirthing is much less scary than it sounds.
Why reset at all
Because the multiplier is permanent, it compounds with everything else. A higher earn rate means the next dice tier arrives sooner, which means Luck rises sooner, which means rarer rolls, which means a better team on the pads, which means more income — the multiplier sits at the front of that chain and shortens every loop after it. Players who never rebirth climb the ladder on willpower; players who rebirth on schedule climb it on a slope.
When to rebirth: three conditions
The community has settled on a pre-reset checklist. Rebirth when all three hold:
- You just collected, not just logged on. The worst timing is resetting right before logging off — you throw away the night’s offline accumulation. The best timing is right after you come back online, collect, and have your offline earnings either spent or banked against the next tier. Reset after the offline payoff, never before it (see offline earnings).
- The multiplier step is worth the cash you are deleting. If the game offers 2x → 2.5x for your current balance, the deal is a 25% permanent raise. Early steps are cheap and obviously worth it; deeper ones deserve a moment’s arithmetic.
- Post-reset income can still reach your next goal. Your multiplier shrinks to the new base, so check that the next dice tier on your list is still reachable within a session or two of post-reset income. If the next tier was a stretch at full balance, one more hour of saving first changes the math.
The pre-reset checklist
Thirty seconds before pressing the button:
- Pads full? Your surviving team is your post-reset income engine. Fill every pad first.
- Offline payout collected? Log in, collect, then reset — in that order.
- Next tier priced? Know which dice tier you are saving toward and confirm the multiplier bump shortens, not lengthens, the road to it.
- Codes redeemed? Free Lucky Spins and Gems from the codes page survive the reset; cash does not. Spend-or-keep before you delete the balance.
How often to rebirth
Treat rebirth as a cadence, not an event: whenever the multiplier step on offer is worth roughly the cash it costs, and the timing conditions above hold. In practice early-game players rebirth frequently for cheap permanent gains; later, as the ladder tiers stretch into the hundreds of billions (community-documented prices reach $1.5T for Void), rebirth timing shifts toward big-balance, big-step resets. Watch the step size, keep the checklist, and the resets will schedule themselves.
